COLERAIN TOWNSHIP, OH (FOX19) -

Colerain Township police are searching for three male suspects after a shooting in Colerain Township Monday afternoon.

Police were dispatched to the 3100 block of Niagara St around 2 p.m. for a report of multiple shots fired.

Jim Love, Colerain Township PIO, says two people were inside a house when three black males broke into the residence. The two people inside the home chased the three males suspects out of the house and eventually got into a car to chase the suspects down the street.

One of the male suspects fired shots, which struck the male in the car about a block down from the house on Niagara Street, Love said.

The shooting victim was taken to University of Medical Center by Air Care after sustaining a gunshot wound to the face. His condition is unknown at the time.

Police say the suspects were last seen fleeing in a Silver Ford Focus with tinted windows.

Anyone with information is asked to call the Colerain Police Department's Criminal Investigate Unit at (513) 321-COPS.
