Wintersville, OH (FOX19 NOW) - Authorities issued an endangered missing alert overnight for a 91-year-old man last seen early this week.
John Mathes went missing after he was last seen at his Wintersville residence in Jefferson County at 6:30 a.m. Tuesday, according to a bulletin from the Ohio Attorney General Missing Persons Unit. Officials with the Jefferson County Sheriff's Office tell FOX19 NOW he actually went missing late Monday.
He suffers from Dementia and other medical conditions that require medication, the bulletin states.
Jefferson County sheriff's officials said they have no idea where Mathes could be, and the search for him could go national if it hasn't already.
He is described as white, 5-foot-11 and 210 pounds with gray hair and brown eyes.
His vehicle is described as a gray 2007 Buick Lucerne with Ohio license plate 1PEPSI.
Wintersville is located about four hours northeast of Cincinnati.
