ERLANGER, KY (FOX19) -

Charges will not be filed after a woman was stabbed early Friday, Erlanger police said.

Officers said they responded to a residence in the 3700 block of Riggs Road 12:40 a.m.

When they arrived, they said they found a woman stabbed with non-life threatening injuries.

Police determined that the dispute was between extended family members.

The victim was taken to St. Elizabeth Hospital. Officials say she is expected to be fine.

Charges were not filed at the time of the call, police said.

Out of respect for the family and their privacy, the names and ages were not released, police said.
