CINCINNATI (FOX19) - Naming rights to the five Cincinnati streetcar vehicles are currently up for grabs.
The Southwest Ohio Regional Transit Authority have contracted Advertising Vehicles Inc. to sell naming and advertising for the streetcar system.
The firm is seeking local businesses who want to place their brand on a streetcar vehicle "under a long-term contract with many additional promotional benefits."
Revenue from naming rights and advertising will go towards streetcar operations. Similar advertising contracts for Metro buses have generated more than $4.6 million over the past 9.5 years, according to SORTA.
