CINCINNATI, OH (FOX19) -

The Cincinnati Zoo & Botanical Garden will be transformed into a “Wild Wonderland” this season with some new features.

The Festival of Lights opens nightly starting Saturday and goes through January 2, 2016. Hours will be from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. on Sundays through Thursday and 5 to 10 p.m. on Friday and Saturdays.

Organizers are promising some new things this year.

There will be an enhanced Wild Lights Show on Swan Lake that will feature new lights, colors, 25-ft tree, floating spheres and music! A Frozen Wonderland themed area - where you can meet everyone’s favorite Royal Sisters, and the Gingerbread Village is back and better than ever, organizers said.

In addition to admiring the beauty of more than 2-million LED lights, visitors can watch a Madcap black-light puppet show, visit with Santa, ride the Toyland Express, search for fairies in Fairyland, watch the spectacular Wild Lights show on Swan Lake, or snack at one of two S’mores-n-More stands.

Guests can enjoy seeing red pandas, Japanese macaques, sea lions, reindeer and warm up and enjoy many of the Zoo’s indoor animal exhibits.

Half-Priced coupons for select nights are available at participating Greater Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky Skyline Chili locations.  Coupons are valid November 24, 25, 26, December 1, 2, 3, 8, 9, 10 only.  Discount tickets are also available at any area Kroger, good for $2 off adult and $1 off child admission any night of the event.
