A man was found struck by a southbound train in the 2200 block of Dixie Highway Saturday evening.
According to police, Scott Batson, 45, was found dead on the train tracks near Penn Lane.
Hamilton police traffic officers and detectives said the victim's last known address was on Kahn Avenue.
"We wish to remind everyone that railroad tracks are dangerous and are the private property of the railroad," said Sergeant Ed Burns. "It is not legal to walk on or be in the right of way of railroad property."
