All lanes are open again on southbound Interstate 75 at Second Street after a crash briefly closed the highway early Tuesday.

Traffic remains backed up to at least the Ezzard Charles Drive exit in the West End.

Officers responded to a 4:45 a.m. report of a vehicle flipped on it side on the highway at the Brent Spence Bridge, said Lt. Tim Brown, the night chief.

Minutes later, they diverted vehicles onto Second Street.

No major injuries were reported, and one lane reopened by 5:30 a.m. Both lanes were clear by 5:42 a.m.
