Economic Impact of A-10

From Richmond to Rhode Island these basketball fans aren't just warming up the seats of US Bank Arena they are heating up the economic engine of the city to the temperature of nine million 168,000 dollars. Fans like Harriett come to town and spend money on food sports gear and occasionally  local attractions each day of the four day tournament, and she's just one of the $12,000 patrons expected per game.

Lisa Carrere General Manager of the Millenium Hotel is expecting a stellar weekend, "we're looking at sold out occupancy going into the weekend that's a positive sign" " We're quite thankful when A-10 comes and Jazz fest later this year, because those festivals and events drive interest into Cincinnati as wel as the people that stay in hotels.
