HAMILTON, OH (FOX19) – -

Drivers should be aware of road restrictions this week to accommodate filming for the Mickey Rourke boxing movie "Tiger."

Wednesday:

  • North 2nd Street will be closed from Market Street to Dayton Street from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Travel will be maintained for drivers exiting the McDulin Garage.
  • Magnolia Alley will remain open off of Riverfront Plaza and North 3rd Street for access to businesses in the area.
  • No parking will be allowed on North 2nd from Market Street to Dayton Street.

Thursday:

  • North 2nd Street will be closed from Market Street to Dayton Street from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Travel will be maintained for drivers exiting the McDulin Garage.
  • Businesses will be able to access parking off of Magnolia Alley.
  • No parking will be allowed on North 2nd from Market Street to Dayton Street.

Saturday:

  • Filming will be taking place at the Mercantile Lofts and the walkway between the Lofts and High and Market streets.
  • There will be no parking on the north side of High Street from 2nd to 3rd streets.
  • The right of the two westbound lanes of High Street will be closed from 3rd to 2nd Street from 5 p.m. Saturday until 3 a.m. Sunday.

These closures and parking restrictions could change due to weather or scheduling changes that affect the filming schedule.

The city of Hamilton and the production company will make every effort to keep the public informed of closures and parking restrictions as they come about as Hamilton is again featured in the movies.

"Tiger" is described as a modern-day boxing drama based on a true story.

We’re told production crews plan to spend about three weeks filming “Tiger” in the Tri-State.

The last date for production in Ohio is scheduled for Dec. 11.
