Police respond to Deer Park bank robbery across street from school

DEER PARK, OH (FOX19) -

Police are searching for a gunman suspected of holding up a bank located directly across the street from Deer Park Junior/Senior High School.

The robbery was reported at the Union Savings Bank around 10: 45 a.m. Monday, according to Deer Park police.

Police say the suspect displayed a silver handgun and got away with an undetermined amount of money.  He was last seen on foot headed east on Linden Avenue from the bank. 

The suspect is described as a male black, approximately six feet three inches tall, weighing 200 pounds, with a beard/mustache, police said.  He was last seen wearing a white undershirt, a black hooded sweatshirt with white writing on the front and the number "19" written on the back, black colored  pants and aviator sunglasses.
