Redsfest at Duke Energy Convention Center: The winter warm-up of the Cincinnati Reds features games and activities for all ages plus interaction with current and former Reds players. Friday: 3 p.m. – 10:30 p.m. Saturday: 11 a.m. – 6:30 p.m. Tickets are $17. 525 Elm Street.
Macy’s Downtown Dazzle: Watch Santa rappel down the Huntington Center to the Macy’s rooftop ahead of a holiday fireworks display. The 20-minute family-friendly program also features performances from local choirs. Saturday: 6:30 p.m. Fountain Square.
The Nutcracker Holiday Ballet: Take an enchanted journey with the students of the School for Creative and Performing Arts. Thursday and Friday: 10 a.m. and 7 p.m. Saturday: 2 p.m. and 7 p.m. Sunday: 2 p.m. Tickets are $15, $13 seniors, $10 students, $5 SCPA students. 108 W. Central Parkway
Trans-Siberian Orchestra at U.S. Bank Arena: TSO brings their rock holiday tradition to Cincinnati Friday. "The Ghosts of Christmas Eve" show features the band's classic songs and others that haven't been performed in years. 4 p.m. and 8 p.m. Tickets range from $35.50 - $73 plus fees.
Winter in the Woodlands: Families and adults on Friday can follow a beautiful, luminaria-lit trail on a leisurely self-guided walk through the forest. Make crafts, listen to live music and decorate home-baked holiday cookies by the fire. $6 per person, kids under 2 are free. California Woods Nature Preserve, 5400 Kellogg Avenue.
Hamilton Christkindlmarkt: The Christkindlmarkt is a traditional Christmas market that has been held around the world. Hamilton’s market will have traditional German food and drink, Gluhwein, German wares and German music. Friday: 6 p.m. – 10 p.m. Saturday: 11 a.m. – 10 p.m. Sunday: 11 a.m. - 6 p.m. Courtyard by Marriott Hamilton 1 Riverfront Plaza.
Christmas Saengerfest: Enjoy 14 different choir groups while visiting four great venues in Over-The-Rhine. A shuttle will transport guests to each church and to the final stop - Moerlein Brewery. Friday and Saturday: 7 p.m. - 11 p.m. Tickets are $25 for one night or $50 for both nights.
Metro's Holly Jolly Downtown Trolley: See all the downtown sights on the holiday trolley Saturday. It's a free ride from noon until 5 p.m. Board the trolley at Fourth, Fifth, Pike and Elm streets.
PBR – Professional Bull Riders: The best up and coming bull riders in the world will be battling the fiercest bovine athletes at U.S. Bank Arena Sunday. The bull riding action begins at 5:30 p.m. Tickets range from $15 to $75.
Sleater-Kinney at Bogarts: The American rock trio plays Sunday. Tickets are $27.50. 2621 Vine Street.
