It’s taken months of training, but on Tuesday the University of Cincinnati’s newest members of the force---two K-9’s—will finally be ready to get to work. Dozer, a yellow lab, and Boomer, a black lab graduated from training to detect 26 different types of explosive chemicals. University officials said their work will allow the school to better prepare for large on campus events, like visits from dignitaries and sporting events.Members of the UC community met the K-9’s and their handlers during a special graduation ceremony Tuesday morning.
