The reporter officer had Johnson take a sobriety test, but he did not pass it  and was placed under arrested for operating a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol or drugs, according to the police report.  Johnson was transported to the Newport Police Department where had a BAC of .154.

While waiting to go into the sally port of the Campbell County Detention Center, Johnson allegedly asked an officer if he could give him money to be let go so he could walk home and not say anything about the situation, the police report said.
