NORWOOD, OH (FOX19) -

A Hamilton County judge set a $1 million bond for a man accused in the robbery and abduction of an 88-year-old woman in Norwood.

On Sunday, Norwood Police responded to an alleged robbery at the McDonalds on Montgomery Rd. Police say Ernie Worley, 48, entered the elderly woman's vehicle and ordered her to drive away or he would hurt her, according to the Norwood Police Department. The woman drove southbound on Montgomery Rd., stopping in the parking lot of Union Station.

Police say Worley stole $6 in cash and ordered the woman out of the car and he fled the scene in the vehicle.

Worley, of Miami Township, is being charged with robbery and abduction, and is currently being held in the Hamilton County jail.

The victim's 2005 Hyundai Elantra has not been recovered at this time. Anyone with information about the possible whereabouts of the car is encouraged to call Det. Jeff Barger at (513) 458-4540.
