Police: Gas station employee accused of stealing winning lottery tickets

HAMILTON COUNTY, OH (FOX19) -

An employee at a Kenwood BP gas station is facing charges for allegedly stealing lottery tickets.

Police say Christopher Toney lied to customers who had winning tickets, telling them that they lost. He then allegedly kept the winning tickets and cashed them in himself.

Toney faces charges of theft and fraud.

He's due again in court later this month.
