CINCINNATI, OH (FOX19) -

Owners of a local restaurant and bar will not admit fans wearing Bengals gear during Sunday’s game against Pittsburgh.

The Angiulli family is from Pennsylvania and own Martino’s on Vine, a haven for Steelers fans here in Cincinnati. The Angiulli’s say the decision to ban Bengals-clad fans is because of safety issues.

In the past, the business tried to host the fans from the two rivals teams. On previous Bengals vs. Steelers game days, the owners say fights broke and the police had to be called.

“We have young kids in here. We have older folks in here. You have two gentleman fighting, you have to worry about the safety of everyone in here,” said manager Marty Angiulli.

The owners say they serve everybody and that their restaurant is a family-style establishment.
