CINCINNATI (FOX19) -

Workers are being allowed to return to the federal courthouse on Main Street and the federal building across the street after a report of a threat or suspicious package, Cincinnati police said.

The Bomb Squad swept the federal courthouse and gave the all-clear shortly after 10:45 a.m. Thursday.

The federal courthouse remains closed to the general public until all of the workers have returned. Roads will remained closed throughout the area.

The threat came into the general federal phone line just after 9 a.m. An official alerted Cincinnati police, who promptly shut down Main Street in the area.

The daycare inside the federal courthouse was also cleared, police said. Children were moved to another location.

FOX19 NOW has a crew at the scene and will continue to update this breaking story.
