Franklin Police are looking for a suspect involved in a robbery at a supermarket Thursday.
Police responded to a report of an armed robbery at the Save-A-Lot store on East Sixth Street, just after 3:45 p.m.
The male demanded that the clerk open the register, according to Lt. Brian Pacifico. The clerk retreated away and the male fled the store without any money.
The suspect left the scene prior to officers arrival; running west on E. Sixth Street towards Riley Boulevard, Lt. Pacifico said.
Officials describe the suspect as a white male, 30 to 40 years old, wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt, blue jeans, and black Nike tennis shoes. He was also wearing a baseball cap and sunglasses.
