Cincinnati police were called to the UC Health Business Center campus parking garage for a report of an armed man Friday around 4:30 p.m.
According to police, the garage was briefly closed and searched.
Investigators in the parking garage and surrounding area found that no suspect fitting the description or subsequent fire arms were found on the premises.
The University of Cincinnati Police Department issued an alert stating:
"Advisory: CPD responded for a man with a possible gun off campus on Burnet Ave. Nothing was found, scene was cleared. No threat to campus."
