Toddler and garbage men heroes prove 2015 wasn’t too bad

CINCINNATI (FOX19) -

A Northside toddler and his neighborhood garbage workers top a list of “Pictures That Prove 2015 Wasn’t A Completely Terrible Year.”

Social news website BuzzFeed compiled the listicle of feel-good photos that shined amid the darker news stories of 2015.

Mark Davis and Eddie Washington, both Cincinnati sanitation workers, posed with 2-year-old Quincy Kroner for a photo that went viral in March.

Quincy had been captivated by garbage men and wanted to show them his new toy truck. But when the time came to pose for the photo, little Quincy couldn't keep it together. The result was an adorable moment that spread across the internet.

“Quincy's been waiting all week to show the garbage men his garbage truck. But, in the moment, he was overwhelmed in the presence of his heroes,” his father captioned the photo.

The photo led Mayor John Cranley to honor Davis and Washington for their customer service and courtesy.
