21c + Metropole - Savor every last bite of 2015 with a New Year’s Eve Dinner at Metropole. Cincinnati Symphony Orchestra - An evening of sophisticated entertainment celebrating Frank Sinatra's 100th birthday and the New Year. Funny Bone Comedy Club - A New Year’s celebration with comedian Guy Torry. Tickets are $25 and the show starts at 10:30 p.m. at Newport on the Levee.

BB Riverboats New Year’s Eve Cruise - Cruise down the river with Cincinnati’s sparkling skyline in the background. Tickets includes a special three-entree buffet, entertainment, a split of champagne at midnight, late night snack buffet, and party favors. $65 for kids and $105 for adults.

Family-friendly events: 

Cincinnati Zoo and Botanical Gardens - Ring in the zoo year with a bunch of party animals. 5-9 p.m. Kids of all ages are invited to ring in the Happy Zoo Year with an early countdown before the ball drops. Activities include Festival of Lights, shows of Winter Wonders by Madcap Puppet Theater at 8:30 PM, meet and greet with Father Time and Baby ZOO Year. Early countdown begins at 8:55 PM with Rozzi Fireworks show. Free with general zoo admission. $15/adults, $10/seniors (62+) and children ages 2-12. Kids under two are free. Cincinnati Museum Center - Celebrate the New Year all day long as countries all over the world welcome 2016. Kids will have a passport and learn about each country’s unique culture. Free event. 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Perfect North Slopes - Ski, snowboard or snow tube until 1 a.m. Party favors and DJ in the lodge. Watch ski instructors and ski patrol glide down the slopes in a torchlight parade.
