Middletown woman dies in two-vehicle accident

BUTLER COUNTY, OH (FOX19) -

The Ohio State Highway Patrol is investigating a two vehicle fatal crash that killed one woman in Middletown Tuesday. 

According to reports, Amber D. Geddes, 29, of Middletown was driving a 1994 Toyota Camry eastbound on North University Boulevard when her vehicle struck another vehicle. 

A preliminary investigation indicated that Sherryl Darby, 26, of Middletown was traveling northbound on Richardson Drive when she made a left hand turn onto westbound North University Boulevard and was struck by Geddes. 

Police said Geddes was transported to Atrium Hospital where she was later pronounced deceased. She was reportedly not wearing her seat belt. 

Darby sustained minor injuries from he crash and was transported to Atrium Hospital where she was treated, according to authorities. 

The crash is under investigation by the Ohio State Highway Patrol-Hamilton Post.
