Dispatch: Toddler hit by car treated and released

A toddler struck by a car and flown to a hospital Sunday suffered non-life threatening injuries, according to  Bracken County dispatchers.

The 2-year-old boy was hit at Bracken Creek Apartments on Bracken Creek Drive about 3 p.m., they said.

He was flown to Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center, where he was treated for bruises and cuts.

Police are still investigating the incident and have not ruled out filing charges, according to the dispatchers. They are consulting Monday with the Bracken County Attorney's Office.

More information is expected to be released Monday afternoon.
