A suspect is being held at the Butler County Jail accused of fatally stabbing a 56-year-old man in the chest Sunday.
Oxford Police say officers responded to a report of a stabbing on College Corner Pike, near Gail Drive, at approximately 8:37 p.m.
Upon arrival, officers discovered Denver Hubbard, 56, with a stab wound to the chest and a 75-year-old female with injuries to her face and hand.
Medics transported Hubbard to McCullough-Hyde Hospital, where he later succumbed to his injuries, according to Oxford Police Sgt. J. Varley.
The female was also transported to same hospital for treatment. No word on her condition.
The suspect, Philip C. Zink, 41, was located about an hour later in a nearby trailer, Oxford Police said.
Zink is awaiting to be formally charged.
