CINCINNATI, OH (FOX19) -

Bengals defensive backs coach, Vance Joseph, appears to be headed to the Dolphins as the team's new defensive coordinator, FOX Sports is reporting.

The move to Miami is a "done deal" and is expected to be completed once the Bengals are finished in the playoffs, Alex Marvez of FOX Sports tweeted.

Joseph, 43, is in his second season with the Bengals. He previously worked as a defensive backs coach for the Houston Texans and San Francisco 49ers.

Cincinnati ranks third this season in interceptions with 21. Safety Reggie Nelson is tied with the most interceptions in the league with eight.

It has been a busy day for the Dolphins. FOX Sports is also reporting that the team is working toward the deal to make Adam Gase the new head coach in Miami.
