WEST CHESTER, OH (FOX19) -

A West Chester man will spend one year behind bars and be without his driver's license for the rest of his life after being sentenced for a fatal 2014 crash

Butler County Judge James Brogan sentenced Terrance Strader Monday after police said he ran a red light on Ohio 747 and struck the vehicle of Troy Stapelton, killing him in May of 2014.

Strader plead no contest to the charges of aggravated vehicular homicide, a third degree felony.

FOX19 NOW obtained records in 2014 showing that Strader had been involved in several accidents that resulted in injuries and a lawsuit.
