Police said they are investigating a bank robbery at Union Savings Bank, 8320 Plainfield Rd.
No injuries were immediately reported when the incident occurred about 9:30 a.m. Wednesday.
A man entered the bank, displayed a handgun and demanded cash, Deer Park police posted on their Facebook page.
The suspect fled with an undetermined amount of cash, got into a waiting car on Linden Avenue.
"The suspect was black approx. 5’04 120 and very young wearing dark green coat, black pants, and black knit skull cap," police described on Facebook.
This is the second time since Nov. 30 this bank has been robbed, according to police.
"At this time it is unknown if this event is related to an earlier robbery back in November but all leads are being pursued," police wrote on Facebook.
