Prosecutor: Man to be deported after committing sexual battery at Mason hotel

MASON, OH (FOX19) -

A man has been sentenced to 24 months in prison after pleading guilty to sexually assaulting a woman at a Mason hotel. 

Police responded to the Mason Inn on an unrelated call, but were then notified by the victim's boyfriend that she was missing. Officers founds the victim lying nearby on the ground, crying and partially unclothed. 

Juan Carlos Alvarez-Chavez, 24, was later found by officers in the nearby woods with the victim's underwear in his pocket, according to officials.

He pleaded guilty to one count of sexual battery, a third degree felony.  

Warren Co. Prosecutor David Fornshell says Alvarez-Chavez is expected to be deported back to Mexico after serving his prison sentence.
