WESTWOOD, OH (FOX19) -

A woman escaped when fire broke out in her home early Tuesday, fire officials said.

No one was hurt when flames were reported in the 2900 block of Ravogli Avenue at 12:45 a.m., said District Fire Chief Mark Sanders in a prepared statement.

A next door neighbor discovered the blaze when smoke detectors went off, he said.

A female resident safely escaped the home before fire crews arrived to find smoke coming from the rear, according to fire officials.

They quickly extinguished the fire.

Damage was set at $10,000.

The cause remains under investigation.
