Cincinnati Weekend: Jan. 29 - 31

Looking for something fun to do this weekend? Check out what's happening around Cincinnati.

Madtree Winter Bonanza: 60 craft beers will be on tap for one of winter’s biggest parties Saturday. Live music and food trucks will also be on-hand. Admission is free, beer tickets are $5. Noon – 1 a.m. at MadTree Brewing Company, 5164 Kennedy Ave. 

Jurassic Quest at Duke Energy Center: For the first time ever, the largest, most realistic dinosaur event is coming to Cincinnati. The exhibit at Duke Energy Center walks visitors through the Triassic, Jurassic and Cretaceous periods with fossil digs, dinosaur rides, cinema, a science station and more. There will also be mini and life-size animatronic dinosaurs. Friday 3-8 p.m., Saturday 9 a.m. - 8 p.m. and Sunday 9 a.m. - 7 p.m. Ticket prices range from $13 to $22. 

Gold Star Chili Cook-off at Findlay Market: Think you have the best chili in Cincy? The first 25 contestants to sign up Sunday will compete for cash prizes and the coveted Chili Meister crown. Judging by local firefighters begins at 11 a.m. and a free public tasting starts at noon. CrownOTR at 1739 Elm Street directly across from the Market/Elm Street Esplanade.

Cincinnati Cyclones Hockey: The ice and jerseys turn pink Saturday for the Cyclones game the Quad City Mallards. Pink in the Rink benefits The Pink Ribbon Girls. Tickets are $13 - $26. U.S. Bank Arena. 

Snow tubing at Beach Mountain: Slide down a snowy 400-foot-long run and then ride the moving carpet back up to the top. The hill features 10 lanes for tubing with sessions starting at 2 hours each. Warm up and buy hot food and beverages at the Winter chalet. There's also a play area for small children to make snowmen or snow angels and tube on a mini slop. 2590 Waterpark Drive, Mason. Friday-Sunday 10 a.m. - 10 p.m. Tickets range from $17-$25.

Two kids FREE with every adult special at Newport Aquarium: Head out to the Newport Aquarium now through Feb. 28 and get 2 kids in free with every adult paying full price. The deal is running every day, all day and no coupons are needed. 10 a.m. - 6 p.m. 

NKCCA Cheer and Dance competition: 100 local teams compete in the 25th annual NKCCA Cheer and Dance competition Saturday. Admission is $10, doors open at 10 a.m. BB&T Arena on the campus of Northern Kentucky University. 

Kip Moore and Chase Bryant at Bogart's: Country singers Kip Moore and Chase Bryant perform at Bogart's Sunday at 7 p.m. Ticket prices begin at $29.50. 2621 Vine Street.
