Bush says Schiavos have another chance to save daughter's life
President Bush says Congress has given Terri Schiavo's parents "another opportunity to save their daughter's life."
Bush told a crowd in Arizona today that the brain-damaged woman's case is "complex" with "serious issues." But he says in a case like that, "it is wise to always err on the side of life." Bush signed a bill early this morning allowing Schiavo's parents to ask a federal judge to get her feeding tube reinserted.
The House and Senate had met in extraordinary weekend sessions to pass the bill.
