WARREN COUNTY, OH (FOX19) - A new state study show violence in Ohio prisons is going down, but also revealed some big problems at a prison in the Tri-State area.
The Lebanon Correctional Institution is deemed the most violent prison in Ohio by a state inspection committee.
The report shows that the center had nearly 2,600 violent rule infractions between 2012 and 2014. The correctional institution is deemed a Level 3 "close security" prison.
The overall state rate of violent rule infractions decreased by 11.8 percent from its peak in 2011.
