FOX19 - Lego has unveiled a wheelchair minifigure at the London and Nuremberg, Germany Toy Fairs.
The new minifigure is part of Lego's #ToyLikeMe campaign, which the company launched to better represent and create toys for children with disabilities.
The campaign started after the company received backlash for "culturally excluding" disabled children in their toy offerings, according to a Change.org petition that garnered over 20,000 supporters.
In an update to the petition, Toy Like Me co-founder Rebecca Atkinson shared that she was overjoyed to see the new minifigure.
"We've got genuine tears of joy right now… Lego have just rocked our brick-built world!"
