HIGHLAND COUNTY, OH (FOX19) -

Two people were killed in a fatal crash on U.S. Route 50 Friday between Allensburg and Dodsonville near Kier Road in Highland County.

According to a preliminary investigation, a maroon 1996 Toyota Corolla driven by Aaron Blagg, 33, was traveling westbound on U.S. 50 near State Route 134 when his vehicle traveled off the right side of the road and through the ditch. Blagg's vehicle then came back onto the road and went left of center striking a white 2002 Toyota Sienna minivan driven by Darrin Leary, 49, head on.

Reports showed both vehicles then traveled off the right side of the road and into a ditch.

Blagg and passenger Margaret Davidson, 58, were pronounced deceased at the scene by the Highland County Coroner.

Investigators said speed appears to be a factor and there is no evidence to indicate drugs and alcohol were involved.
