CINCINNATI, OH (FOX19) - Cincy Meat Week continues its "Pit" Stop Schedule through this weekend.
The 2nd Annual "Tour de BBQ" features stops throughout the Greater Cincinnati area during the week of Jan. 31 through Feb. 7. For eight nights, participants visit different BBQ restaurants and feast.
- Thursday, Woots BBQ on Cheviot Rd will be the featured restaurant.
- Friday: Butt Shack BBQ Grill, 4 Endicott St, Cincinnati
- Saturday: Midwest Best BBQ and Creamery, 7832 Glendale Milford Rd., Camp Dennison
- Sunday: Eli's BBQ, 3313 Riverside Dr., Cincinnati
Meat Week typically focuses on good ol' American BBQ: Pork, ribs, brisket, BBQ, chicken and everything else you can smoke and smother in sauce, according to meetweek's website.
The tradition began in 2005 in Tallahassee, Florida by Chris Cantey and Erni Walker.
