BLUE ASH, OH (FOX19) - Blue Ash Police are looking for three suspects after a shootout and subsequent four-vehicle accident that injured two people.
Police responded to Oak Ave. around 11:25 Sunday morning after investigators say at least 10 shots were fired in the area. The suspects fled the scene, Blue Ash PD confirms. Investigators say they recovered two handguns at the scene on Oak Ave.
Officers say an individual suffering from gunshot wounds was then part of a four-vehicle accident on Deerfield Rd. near Cornell Rd. shortly after the incident on Oak Ave.
A three-year-old child was found in the car. She was taken to the hospital with minor injuries, Lt. Steve Schueler said.
Police believe the second wounded victim fled on foot and is at large at this time.
Officers say two men dumped a car damaged with bullet holes at a local Speedway on Cornell Rd. after fleeing the scene. One of the men was later located at an area hospital with a gunshot wound, Blue Ash PD said. The second man remains at large.
Stray bullets struck a house on Florence Ave. near Oak Ave. during the incident. The people inside the house were not injured and police do not believe they were involved in the shooting. The homeowner did say his youngest son was about 10 feet away from one of the bullet holes.
Two males were found at the Oak Ave. scene and have been taken in for questioning, police confirm.
Blue Ash PD tells FOX19 NOW the investigation will be a lengthy process due to the different scenes in the incident.
