ANDERSON TOWNSHIP, OH (FOX19) -

Two men are under arrest this morning after a Hazmat crew was called to a traffic stop Sunday night, according to the Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office.

A deputy attempted to pull over a vehicle at Asbury Road and Ayerdayl Lane in Anderson just after 10 p.m., said Sgt. Robert Mai.

Someone inside the vehicle threw a soda pop bottle out, he said.

Fearing the item was a “one-pot” lab used to cook, or make methamphetamine, deputies called for a Hazmat crew to respond, he said.

“They tried to toss it out the window to try to hide it, but it was seen by the officer,” Mai said. “We had people come out to secure the scene and make sure it was safe.”

Charles Ross, 26, and Ryan Dawson, 30, were charged with illegal assembly or possession of chemicals for manufacturing drugs, he said.

They are held without bond at the Hamilton County jail.
