As Valentine's Day approaches this weekend, Cincinnati ranks 6th on Amazon's annual list of the Top 20 Most Romantic American Cities.
The list is determined by sales data from cities with populations more than 100,000 residents, Amazon officials said in a prepared statement Monday.
This includes purchases of romance novels and relationship books (both Kindle and print); romantic comedy movies (DVDs and digital); list of romantic music, including artists like Barry White, Maxwell, Miguel, and Luther Vandross (CDs and MP3 format and the sales of sexual wellness products.
In addition to the Queen City making the list, here's a few details:
Dayton ranks No. 19
"Can't Get Enough of Your Love, Babe" was the most requested Barry White song on Amazon Echo
Alexandria, VA, reclaimed its position as the most romantic city after five heartbreaking years away from the top spot
Love is apparently blooming in Washington. The state has four cities on the list this year.
Miami, FL "knows how to keep the passion alive, with the city purchasing the most sexual wellness products," according to Amazon's statement.
