I recently checked out Breakout Cincinnati.
It’s located above the old Hyde Park Blockbusters near the corner of Michigan and Wasson. This was not my idea.
Being locked in a room with seven other people solving puzzles, not usually my “THANG.”
It's actually a little more complicated. There are different breakout rooms with different stories.
There’s “The Kidnapping,” “The Museum Heist,” “Casino Royale,” and “X Island Escape.”
We picked “The Museum Heist.” We were tasked with recovering a stolen masterpiece, and escaping the room before the gallery opened for a big event in an hour.
The group has to work together to solve clues which opened certain locks. Those locks opened briefcases, drawers, and chest that led to more clues.
I was surprised how fun it was. We all had fun. You felt like you were truly a former art thief on a real adventure.
I won’t give too much away, but it was a lot of fun and a great group activity. Family, friends, co-workers can see how well they work together.
As you can see from the picture, we didn’t succeed, but would be willing to try again. If you want to give it a go, check it out: https://breakoutcincinnati.com
President Donald Trump is blaming the media for widespread condemnation of his response to the Charlottesville tragedy.
In the video, posted Sunday, to a union YouTube page, the narrator continuously insinuates that officers face racism because of their job. The NAACP called it "reprehensible."
