FOX19 - Did Taylor Swift shame Kanye West in her Grammy acceptance speech? The internet says 'yes.'
Keeping it classy, the pop star didn't name names when she encouraged young women to ignore the people "who will try to undercut your success or take credit for your accomplishments – or your fame."
The comment comes after West's new track titled "Famous," which references having sex with Swift and claims he made "the bi***" famous."
Taylor took a not so subtle swipe at West when she accepted the award for Album of the Year.
"I want to say to all the young women out there: There are going to be people along the way who will try to undercut your success or take credit for your accomplishments or your fame," Swift said. "But if you just focus on the work and you don't let those people sidetrack you, someday when you get where you're going, you'll look around and you will know that it was you and the people who love you who put you there. And that will be the greatest feeling in the world."
Swift and Kanye have a history of spats since the rapper interrupted Swift's speech at the 2009 VMAs.
