BOONE CO., KY (FOX19) -

The man and woman sought involved in a Valentine's Day abduction have been arrested, according to the Boone County Sheriff's Office.

Charles Burnett Jr., 26 and Emma Haumesser, 20, are being housed at the Boone County Detention Center facing charges of kidnapping and robbery.

An investigation revealed the victim contacted Haumesser through a classified website and arranged for her to come to his room at the Quality Inn and Suites near CVG, according to the sheriff's office.

While there, Haumesser excused herself to take a phone call and walked out of the room. Police said after that Burnett "burst in" the room displaying a handgun and ordered the victim to come with him.

Haumesser and Burnett drove the victim to six different ATM machines ordering him to withdraw money at each.

“Eventually our victim’s ATM card was seized by a machine. Our victim was then assaulted and kicked out of the vehicle,” the sheriff’s office Facebook page describes.

The victim was dropped off near the Red Roof Inn on Donaldson Road in Erlanger, KY, police said.

Burnett and Haumesser's charges are punishable by 10-20 years in the state penitentiary.
