LOCKLAND, OH (FOX19) - A Lockland homeowner shot and killed a burglar Tuesday afternoon.
Police say a gold colored car with four suspects inside drove up to the Maple and Locust streets at around 3 p.m.
The four suspects got out of the vehicle and allegedly attempted to force their way into a house to rob the homeowner, police on scene said.
As the suspect pulled a knife, the home owner shot one of the suspects.
The suspect died on scene, according to police. Their name has not been released.
The three other suspects fled the scene on foot. Police do not know of their whereabouts.
The homeowner is being questioned by police.
