A female motorist is under arrest in connection with a fatal, wrong-way crash that shut down southbound Interstate 71 at Dana Avenue early Wednesday.
Taryn Chin, 22, was booked into the jail on two charges of aggravated vehicular homicide, Cincinnati police said.
They said they suspect she was under the influence of alcohol when her gray Honda Odyssey went the wrong way on the highway and crashed into a southbound, two-door vehicle, instantly killing the driver.
She took a breathalyzer test to measure her level of intoxication, said Specialist Jerry Enneking of the traffic unit.
The results were not released.
She is scheduled to face a judge Thursday morning, jail officials said.
