The community is looking toward the future, but the current sight of the Rabbit Hash General store is unreal for those who have grown up with the historic landmark.
Images of the fire and its aftermath have spread across the internet in the days following the blaze. A northern Kentucky man is sharing a different perspective of the damaged store: from above.
Matt Neary used his drone to capture photos and video store as crews worked in the wreckage. See them in the gallery above or at this link on mobile devices.
Owned by the Rabbit Hash Historical Society, the store was listed on the National Register of Historic Places and had been in operation since 1831.
Investigators have not determined the cause of the Feb. 13 fire.
Historical Society President Donnie Clare says the fire was devastating but vows that the store will be rebuilt.
