Husband charged with OVI after wife falls out of tractor-trailer

A husband faces an OVI charge after his wife fell from his semi-truck early Friday morning. 

Ohio State Highway Patrol troopers and Middletown police responded to 14th Street and Verity Parkway around 2 a.m., a state patrol dispatcher said.

According to police documents, a verbal dispute occurred between Andrew Frost and Angela Frost while Andrew Frost was driving his tractor-trailer. 

Police say Angela Frost threatened to jump out of the moving semi.

Andrew Frost told responding officers that Angela Frost had jumped out of the moving tractor-trailer, a police report states.

It also shows Angela Frost told officers that she threatened to jump and the "the next thing she knew she had fell out of the truck."  

Angela Frost was flown by medical helicopter to a Dayton-area hospital with a lower body injury, according to the Middletown police report.

The severity of her injuries are unknown.

Investigating officers said Andrew Frost admitted to drinking two alcoholic beverages, a mixed drink and a beer.

Police also said they smelled alcohol emanating from his breath, he had bloodshot glossy eyes and was unsteady on his feet.

Andrew Frost was placed under arrest and charged with an OVI.
