MONTGOMERY CO., OH (FOX19) - Two people were sent to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries after a five-vehicle crash brought northbound Interstate 71 to a standstill during the Friday morning commute.
One of the vehicles flipped onto its side on the highway between Pfeiffer and Deerfield roads at 6:48 a.m., blocking all three lanes, Montgomery police said.
The driver in the car that turned onto its side was trapped.
That motorist and another driver were taken to area hospitals with non-life threatening injuries, police said.
The crash brought the morning rush in the northbound lanes to a standstill. Vehicles squeezed by in a ramp at Pfeiffer Road until the highway reopened at 8:10 a.m.
