Police say speed and impairment appear to be factors in a North Avondale accident that left one man in critical condition.

Investigators say Landon Wood Jr. was traveling south on Reading Rd. near Asmann Ave. around 11 p.m. Friday night when he lost control.

Wood Jr.'s Cadillac Deville crossed the centerline and struck a flatbed tow truck, according to Cincinnati PD.

The driver of the truck, Clinton Lewis, 31, was wearing a seatbelt and was not injured.

Wood Jr. was transported to the University of Cincinnati Medical Center with serious injuries. He is listed in critical condition.

The Cincinnati Traffic Unit is investigating the accident. If you have any information involving the accident you are encouraged to call (513) 352-2514.
