CINCINNATI, OH (FOX19) - A march for Bernie Sanders and a "Hillary for Ohio" kickoff party will take place in Cincinnati on Saturday.
According to the march's Facebook page, thousands across the country are expected to take place in the event in their support for Sanders' campaign. The march will begin at 1 p.m. at City Hall.
"Join us with thousands across the country in a #March4Bernie. Millions are fed up with establishment politics, and on Saturday February 20th, people are demonstrating their support for Bernie Sanders' call for a political revolution against the billionaire class," the Facebook page reads.
The "Hillary for Ohio" kickoff party is for its new, official campaign office in Cincinnati. Among those attending the event will be former Mayor of Cincinnati, Mark Mallory; State Senator, Denise Driehaus; and former State Representative Connie Pillich.
"Hamilton County and the Southwest part of the state are incredibly important to Hillary for Ohio. That is why we've opened an office in Cincinnati: to serve as a central meeting place for our volunteers and supporters to share their excitement for Hillary Clinton and her plans for America," said Yianni Varonis, Hillary for Ohio Press Secretary.
The kickoff party will begin at 1:30 p.m. at 200 Kovach Drive.
