CINCINNATI, OH (FOX19) -

I love a good burger, and Cincinnati has more than a few options:  Nation in the Pendleton neighborhood; Krueger’s Tavern in OTR, and Americano Burger Bar on Fifth Street Downtown.

I relish them all, but I’m adding a new restaurant to the list.

Bru Burger Bar is located in the old Caddy Ranch on Sixth Street, across from the Contemporary Art Center Downtown.

The new restaurant only occupying about half of the old Caddy Ranch space which was way too big.

The new space is much more intimate and upscale.

You don’t get a hint of the old Caddy Ranch and its mechanical bull.

Good start.

I was excited about the burger potential, but I started with buttermilk fried chicken tenders.  They were delicious.  Crunchy and moist.  Probably the best chicken tenders ever.

As for the burger, I ordered the Bru Burger, which is topped with teleggio cheese, bacon, tomato jam, caramelized onions, chopped lettuce and mayo.

It did not disappoint.

I really liked this new spot.

The space is perfect, the food delicious and the service was impeccable.

I will be back and will recommend it to all burger lovers.

Check out the menu.
