COLERAIN TOWNSHIP, OH (FOX19) -

A man and a woman face charges after police say they stole a U-Haul truck, led officers on a chase through several yards and crashed into a police cruiser over the weekend.

Iesha Harris, 24, and Darius Loveless, 23 are accused of assaulting a woman before stealing her rental vehicle on Willowridge Drive Sunday, court records show.

After the two stole the vehicle, police wrote in court records, Harris, the driver, fled a traffic stop and led police on a 29-minute pursuit.

The U-Haul slammed into a parked police cruiser and rove through several yards, records state.

A marked Hamilton County cruiser was able to throw down stop-sticks to deflate the U-Haul's tires in an attempt to get it to stop.

Once the vehicle came to a halt, records show Loveless remained inside, but Harris ran off.

Police said a K-9 stopped her and she was bitten in the buttocks.

She was treated by paramedics at the scene and taken to a hospital for additional treatment before she was booked into the Hamilton County jail.

She faces charges of felonious assault, robbery, failure to comply with an order or signal of a police officer and resisting arrest, court records show.
